Symbolic of renewal & transformation (they shed their antlers) to become ‘your best self’, but also they’re truly majestic creatures when you see one. My first sighting of a huge wild stag was as a child in England and I was mesmerised. 
Introduced in the 18th Century for sport, they’re found throughout Australia (sometimes in overwhelming populations) and yet it always feels a bit special if I see the footprints on my daily walk in the bush. There but not there. This one has a ‘beard’ of lovely native flowers, in harmony with nature, just as it should be.
