The poppy, a flower of rememberance and the cherishing of life. Inspired by all the wonderful mothers and grandmothers who love unconditionally, watching over the growing life cycles of their children. 
 
Natural paints including poppyseed oil.
 
hand applied finely beaten metals including Australian 24 karat gold-leaf and various Dutch gold leaf (copper, aluminium, zinc). Original ink design completed using the dip-pen method.
