5g Genuine asphaltum or bitumen, a natural brown black pigment. Traditionally this pigment replaced the use of Mummy Brown (made from actual mummies) once it was discovered that ancient Egyptians would use this substance for the embalming. However this pigment in the raw state proved to be problematic in oil paintings. Therefore it is in the collection for curiosity purposes, though I might be using it in future works.
