[Tree bark ink made from found barks of paperbark and eucalyptus trees, banksia charcoal, bark charcoal, green earth, ochres, ground lapis lazuli, eucalyptus gall and black wattle ink on traditional gesso on 640gsm archival paper]
Adapting the recipes for cherry bark ink, here I made an ink with various barks that had fallen from trees in the local neighbourhood. It is a warm golden-brown colour, like treacle and a useful colour for nature painting.
