Paint made with featured ingredient: Genuine duck egg

[Rabbit skin glue, clove oil, orange oil, Australian ochres, oak gall ink on traditional gesso on 640gsm archival paper]

Traditionally all parts of a hunted animal would be used and the skins of rabbits were made into glues for woodworking and mixing gesso for priming panels or canvas. This method was used as late as the 1950s when PVA became available yet today some artists continue to use the traditional rabbit skin glue (though it may not contain any rabbit – probably cow).
