[Cold pressed poppyseed oil, clover ink, brandy, green earth pigment, rose petal ink, ground malachite, mandarin ink, walnut ink on traditional gesso on 640gsm archival paper]
Poppyseed oil made from the same flower as opium, when used as a painting medium dries slower than other oils but is clearer than linseed which tends to yellow with age. It was generally used, along with walnut oil, by artists for blue and white pigments.
