Paint made with featured ingredient: Genuine Prepared Ox Gall

[Ox gall in alcohol, 5 types grass ink, clover ink, Australian ochres, sienna ochre, gum acacia, oak gall ink on traditional gesso on 640gsm archival paper]

The ox or bullock is a male cow that has been trained as a work animal. Ox gall is the bitter liquid called bile found in the gall bladder and was added to watercolours as a dispersant for difficult pigments. It is still available in art shops today but there are alternatives that can be used.
